The Oakton Otters Swim Team offers swimming
instruction of the highest caliber that will
improve swimming skills at all levels. In addition,
being a member of the team will fill your summer
with social events and outings to keep the swimmer
having fun throughout the season. The season begins
May 31 and runs through the awards banquet on July
30.
The Oakton Swim and Racquet Club is very pleased to announce that its Oakton Otters Head Coach for the 2011 swim season will be Nicole Sharer.
Nicole began swimming for the Oakton Otters in 1998 and has since been a devoted member of the team and community. She was a proud member of the infamous 2003 Division III Champions and Division III Relay Champions. Despite many of her own individual Division Champion titles and relay team accomplishments, she is most proud of being a two-time recipient of the Oakton Spirit Award and the NVSL Olivia Aull Spirit Award. This summer will be her 14th year with the team and her 7th year as part of the coaching staff. After leading the 2010 team to a Championship over Division II, she looks forward to an exciting season in Division I!!
